Re: Pre-heating

Thanks for the advice, I think it is time for me to uninstall e:PROGRESS and see what happens next.

Re: Pre-heating

Yes, I am running off a 7kw feed, which seems to have worked OK before.

I have two apps running on my phone, MyHonda+ and e:PROGRESS. Both are set to the same time but maybe they trip each other up.

Pre-heating

I can get pre-heating of the car interior working fine via the key fob and via the app. However, I (think) that the car used to warm up the interior largely by using power from the wall charger, ie, if the car was 100% charged by the time I asked for heating, it stayed at 100% by taking all the heat...

Honda e:PROGRESS

This week I interviewed Matthew Waite, HME’s Energy Project manager, on the subject of Honda e:PROGRESS.

Here's a link to the story, I hope it answers most of your questions:

Re: In-car charger timer issues

I have exactly the same problem. The timer worked fine for weeks but yesterday it statutes as soon as I plugged in.

In-car charger timer issues

I seem to be able to set up the charger timers in-car to work once, then they go haywire. Timer 1 worked fine the first time, then was simply ignored after that session, with power be taken immediately even when the time said it should wait until 12.30pm. I moved to Timer 2, which also worked fine t...

Re: Honda's e:progress have switched energy provider

Yes, I have Octopus Agile and that seems to be the only way to get e:Progress to do its job. I am waiting for the Honda-branded charger to become available, which should be soon. But, and it's a huge But, Octopus Agile can be significantly more expensive than the 5p/kWh of Octopus Go. So my advice i...

Re: Journalist buys Honda e!

Honda tells me that the Vehicle to Grid service – e:PROGRESS – can be booked in for fitment now. This is not yet Honda's own branded product, which follows in "June", though this has been postponed already several times. Both will use Octopus Energy, in a similar way Octopus already have e...

Journalist buys Honda e!

It's not often you get motoring journalists spending their own money on a new car, but last August I did.
