Re: Michelin Pilot Sport 4 vs e-Primacy Tyres (20% better efficiency?)
We've just fitted a pair of e-Primacy tyres to the rear axle. My wife says she prefers them to the OE Yokohamas (we have an Advance on 16s). I think the Yokos did well to get to 22'000+ miles, and ended a little prematurely owing to a screw in the tyre. Ah well. I've yet to drive it on the new tyres...

Re: Charge to 80% or 100%?
This post has been running for a while! It's great to see it resurrected though and I think we understand a lot more than we did 3 years ago. We have been charging to 100% using a single phase Zappi 2 fast charger, and I think we've only rapid charged 5 times. 2 or 3 of those were top-ups. We haven'...

Re: Goodbye!
Don't be sorry, you've got the experiences and stories to tell because you bought and used an e. You put faith into Honda's first EV venture, but sadly they appear to becoming less 'Honda' and more 'me too' at the moment. That's a shame. For now, keep enjoying the little e. I hope the Volvo provides...

Good stuff! I wonder how they fare against the Yokos the cars got on 16s.

Re: Did you Buy or Sell up?
My wife is keeping hers. It'll have 22k miles on the clock by the end of the year and nothing else on the market comes close to what this car offers for us. It fits perfectly. We had it on 3 years HP since August 2020 so that's paid up. Almost always charging from home, this has now become extremely...

Re: Pre-heating
Our charger is a Zappi 2, currently configured to charge during the day with solar surplus up to 90% (will augment with up to 10% from the grid to meet the minimum charge rate of 1.4kW) and boost (use up to 100% grid energy) between 00:30 and 04:30: IMG_1234.jpg It's still using grid energy to pre-c...

Re: 12v auxiliary battery charging
So my wife contacted the dealer and they asked to have the car dropped in for a check. They didn't find any abnormally high current drain, but topped up the battery and noticed there has been a software update that fixes a known issue with current draw and applied it. My advice, if you are concerned...

Re: 12v auxiliary battery charging
My wife attempted to access her car on Tuesday last week. It was totally dead and unresponsive, the one day that I was away from home that week! As soon as I got home on Wednesday, I gained access to the car via the key, got under the bonnet and disconnected the car from the negative battery termina...

Re: MyHonda+ App - What's the Point?
Even worse is when the app is constantly misreporting that the car is unlocked and the windows are open, when it's locked and shut. I'm more concerned for when the reverse happens. At least 90% of the time the app is slow to use and unable to provide updates. Why Honda believe this is acceptable is ...
