Re: Bits for Sale
Hi John (Bogga),
I was sorry to hear of your accident and I trust all occupants are OK. As you're selling the accessories, it sounds as though you won't be buying another e. Anyway, if it's still available, I'd like to buy your charge port cover.

Pulsing Charging Light
Am I the only one who is annoyed by the blue light that pulses all the time the e is being charged? It's not subtle and as I charge almost exclusively at home overnight on Octopus Go it lights up the vicinity as if some UAP has landed and is conducting post-landing checks. I've even had neighbours c...

Re: Pedestrian warning sound
Surely the ability to turn it off negates its intent. Is the Leaf's switch labelled "Sneak up on pedestrians mode"?

Re: Pedestrian warning sound
In 2019 the EU mandated all BEVs to emit a sound below 12MPH or while reversing. It's called an acoustic vehicle alert system (AVAS). I assume we won't be taking back control and eliminating now we're no longer part of the EU.

I think you had you hyperbole detector turned off Despite being an electronics engineer I frequently refer to charging mine as filling up with volts.

Re: Air source heat pumps for home heating
We started to go down this route last year. The same company that installed out solar panels came to give us an estimate for installing a heat pump. The heat pump system works at a lower maximum temperature (60°C) than typical gas heating and so he did a quick calculation and said we would almost ce...

Re: Satnav update
The update didn't go well and now my Honda e has a bricked Satnav system (just as well I use Google or Apple Maps on Carplay). Trying to enter the destination, the App only allows the first letter to be typed. Thereafter it refuses all further input until it crashes after about 10 mins. Very disappo...

Re: Satnav update
When I follow the instructions for "If your vehicle is not listed below..." I get to the setting page but there is no Device menu item. Any ideas? Thank in advance.
