12 March 2024 - now 28,860miles since Aug 2020
No noticeable loss in range or economy. Only serious issue has been 12V battery.
First was replaced under warranty April 2022, and I have just bought a Yuasa 5000 series today.

Re: 12V battery issues
I had issues this week. Was sat in my car, listening to the Budget on my radio, while having lunch. Time went by. Probably about 45 mins and car was dead. And I was on a remote rural road long way from home. Had to call my wife (not happy having to leave work) and use her battery to “jump start” my...

Re: Unable to start Honda e
You can replace it with any '053' battery. You can get a Yuasa 5000 series '053' from halfords for just under 100quid, a straight swap. I fitted a larger '005' battery, but this requires removing the battery tray and replacing the hold down bracket with something larger - and it doesn't really fix ...

12v Battery issues - is Lithium the solution
Having issues with my 12V battery again. I am already on my 2nd 12V (replaced under warranty) but now I have to decide. Do I just buy another Lead Acid for around £80 or invest in a Lithium 12V 100ah that could cost nearer to £500 but have a much improved life. I don’t know enough about this topic, ...

Battery Life
If like me you have decided to keep you car beyond the initial 3yr PCP you might be interested in this on YouTube. It concerns charging routines v. Battery life and is based on research by Universities. If you don’t drive very far each day, and can limit the % you recharge to within 15-20% it seems ...

Re: Deflation Warning Every Week or So but no Punctures
Can confirm system doesn’t measure actual tyre pressures, it measures differential wheel rotations over a distance. Only had the warning once, and there was little difference in tyre pressure. Also agree that sunshine warming one side could also trigger warning.

Re: Cheapest Honda e for sale
To make me depressed about the huge loss in the value of my car, I thought I’d see how cheap a used Honda e now is. Well as of today, here’s the cheapest on Auto Trader: £18k, 9200 miles, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, private seller There are also a load of others under £19k. I should have just waited 3...

Public Charging Networks
Having difficulty “searching” threads on the Forum, so hope this has not already been covered. Thought it might be useful to compare experiences of Public Charging, mainly in the UK, for others to learn from, and compare different regions of UK. IMO there is now no shortage of Public Chargers, but m...
