Re: Electrical Problems
Why is no one here using their Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK) because this is clearly an issue that should not occur on cars of this age? I can't speak for everyone, but I'm not sure practically how it can be done in parallel with trying to get the car repaired and back on the road. I agree this par...

Re: Electrical Problems
Well that's interesting. My car was first registered on 3 June 2020, and the VIN ends in -LX200110. Still had the issue though. So even if Honda do a recall in Europe (not counting on it), it seems I haven't got a leg to stand on. Yeah, mine ends LX201104 from a few months later. I'm not sure here ...

Re: Electrical Problems
I guess that should also mean that models later than 24/01/2022 shouldn't be affected. It still doesn't sound fair to me that Honda are admitting that there was a fault in Japan but not in Europe. I would assume that a recall would be irrespective of warranty date (although I have zero experience o...

Re: Electrical Problems
My Google translate says: Notification date: December 8, 2020 and that the dates for the e are July 27, 2019~January 24, 2014 which don't make sense. Have checked with the wife (Japanese) and she says the notification date is 08/12/2023 and that the date range for the e is 27/02/2020 - 24/01/2022. ...

And the apparent recall in Japan; https://www.honda.co.jp/recall/auto/info/231208_683.html?fbclid=IwAR3cv03bAX-1RKirwgKYSeq-7FFvU2ViGMjQ_9fZdezR5K-HzNc6C38cmZ4 Screenshot 2024-03-26 115901.png "July 27, 2020 ~ January 24, 2020" Seems to indicate only the first 6 months or so of manufacture...

Re: Electrical Problems
Just back from my appointment with my dealer on my own failure and they've diagnosed as expected the (now dreaded) simulator failure (part: Electric Servo Brake (“Brake Booster”) - 01469-TYF-J01 SIMULATOR SET, BRAKE OPERATING (REWRITABLE) as discussed in the spares part thread). I've been given the ...

Re: E:ny1 for a day
Thanks for the insight, I guess we can add to the list of obvious omissions, that's there's no OPD mode.

Re: 12v Battery Best Practices
All good stuff, thanks all! I too am on the original 12v and so far, it's holding up. I've always judicious in pumping the brake the moment I get into the car, to switch on the traction battery (the doubled ended green arrow on the dash), even if I'm not planning to get anywhere, so maybe that's bee...

Re: New owner with a couple of questions
6. Yeah, it's not uncommon. It always seems to be that screen, it doesn't seem to get worse (it's happened on mine once a month or so since it was delivered).
