Re: Failed brake servo/pedal simulator - a how-to DIY fix

The good news is that the part is showing on the Honda UK system as in stock and available for delivery. We shall see. It is? That's great news. I and a load of others are waiting on these to arrive at dealers right now, so fingers crossed they arrive soon. Honda stumped up 40% of the part cost in ...

A date when every e supplied would have still been in the original manufacturers warranty.

Re: Failed brake servo/pedal simulator - a how-to DIY fix

Thank you so much for putting in the time and effort to document this issue. I have the same problem with my 2020 Honda Jazz Crosstar and unfortunately zero mechanical ability. You stated that Honda Japan has issued a recall for this fault. I’ve search Google but found nothing. Do you know of evide...

Re: Help - warning lights all over dash

Can someone suggest a decent contact for Honda themselves (preferrably in the UK)? I have already tried emailing 'customer.service@honda-eu.com' but predictably received no response. I ended up using the Custom Services contact form which I doubted would generate anything, but they did call me to d...

This is an amazing effort in producing this guide and associated commentary, quite extraordinary stuff.

I too have been offered the 40% off the list price of the part from Honda, dealer seems to think it will receive the part later this month (April), but we'll see if that transpires.

Re: Help - warning lights all over dash

I don't own a Honda E but I do own a Honda Jazz which has the brake simulator fault which appears to be the same on the E. Honda UK must surely be aware of the problem by now since on the Uk Club Jazz.org forum our members have already reported 8 cases in the last few months and we are also aware o...

Re: Electrical Problems

Why is no one here using their Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK) because this is clearly an issue that should not occur on cars of this age? I can't speak for everyone, but I'm not sure practically how it can be done in parallel with trying to get the car repaired and back on the road. I agree this par...

Re: Electrical Problems

Well that's interesting. My car was first registered on 3 June 2020, and the VIN ends in -LX200110. Still had the issue though. So even if Honda do a recall in Europe (not counting on it), it seems I haven't got a leg to stand on. Yeah, mine ends LX201104 from a few months later. I'm not sure here ...

Re: Electrical Problems

I guess that should also mean that models later than 24/01/2022 shouldn't be affected. It still doesn't sound fair to me that Honda are admitting that there was a fault in Japan but not in Europe. I would assume that a recall would be irrespective of warranty date (although I have zero experience o...

Re: Electrical Problems

My Google translate says: Notification date: December 8, 2020 and that the dates for the e are July 27, 2019~January 24, 2014 which don't make sense. Have checked with the wife (Japanese) and she says the notification date is 08/12/2023 and that the date range for the e is 27/02/2020 - 24/01/2022. ...
