Re: Dead Honda e
Well, this is what Honda are telling us. Would be good to see an actual mechanism to know if this is the case or not. Will be trying the key when we get it back to see if this is the case.

Re: Dead Honda e
Had the final response from Honda today on the lock problem and they have stated that the door Lock does not have a solely physical connection to the handle. If the battery fails and is not just low, as in our case, then there is no power to drive the door lock solenoid. It looks like the physical k...

Re: Dead Honda e
The key does work, it it is fiddly. You have to fully insert the key, turn it counterclockwise, and whilst it's held fully clockwise, then further pull the door handle to its second position. The car is not always charging the 12v battery when it's turned on. I wouldn't call it defective, but subop...

Re: Dead Honda e
Haven't we all had a dead Honda e at least once? 2½ year in with mine, no, not yet; knock on wood. I'd get a battery test and a battery monitor fitted if I were you, it looks like 3 years is the best you can expect. Worst of all is ours is only just out of warranty... Still, wouldn't swap her for a...

Re: Dead Honda e
So Car now delivered to Honda having been dragged backwards up the ramp onto the truck :-( . This is the AA here... I can definitely tell you that neither of the physical keys worked. We only have the 1 Honda... As I mentioned even the AA couldn't get in with the key and was equally baffled. Swansea...

Re: Dead Honda e
Went to the car this morning and the car is completely dead. It's totally non-responsive. Cannot even open the car with the mechanical key. Does anyone know how to get in if the key won't work? Are there any access points to get 12v into the car? Called the AA to assist, but they couldn't get in eit...

Re: Localisation disturbed – GPS|iPhone|Apple CarPlay
We've had the map error for a long while on the iPhone. After the last iPhone update we now have completely non-functional Apple Maps. The iPhone map simply doesn't move. Did I see someone resolved this? Please can you provide some details on what you did? The internal Garmin has the position OK, so...

Re: Poor GPS reception
Is it safe to assume that Apple CarPlay will do the same then?

Poor GPS reception
Has anyone noticed that the GPS signal on the satnav takes a long time to lock on? I’ve had times when the nav puts the car several 10s of meters off its actual location which messes up directions in towns. The guide says that the antenna is in the dash, but I’m wondering if the front window electri...

Re: Auto Pop-Out Door Handles
Does anyone else find that the sensitivity to the finger touch seems erratic? The auto pop-out/unlock works fine (and we have learnt to ignore it when we walk past), but I'm finding that sometimes I simply cannot lock the door with my finger having to resort to the fob. Is there a knack to it I have...
