Re: New buyer advice
My Civic was being sold by a Honda dealer as ‘Manufacturer Approved’ used and, even though it was 5 years old when I purchased it, it came with a 12 months Honda warranty, so I would think you should be able to do similar with an e. Prices are certainly keen at the moment, good luck with your search...

Re: Pop up hood warning

Re: Traffic sign recognition system display - Re-enabled on startup?
Hi All so i have just taken delivery of my new 24 plate Civic e-Hev, the road sign recognition system is annoying! so yes, you can disable it for individual journeys but it re-enables itself on start up. I called Honda in Northampton the next day to ask why it does this.. and they said someone else...

Re: When you retain number plate online
Here’s the email from DVLA I received immediately after completion of the transfer of the registration from my e, also attached to the email was a pdf file giving authorisation to obtain plates for the reassigned registration number.

Re: When you retain number plate online
My question is, does DVLA online screen confirm reassigned original/new number there and then , or do I have to wait till V5 log paper (as well as retaining document) arrives via Royal mail to know the number? In my experience of transferring numerous plates online IIRC the reassigned (or original)...

Re: Depreciation
The article is specifically depreciation over one year not three. I can relate to that with our 2021 Mii which we bought in April for £15k; if my figures are correct, 8 months later, and with just 6,240 miles on the clock, AutoTrader are currently valuing it at £8.8k as a part-exchange, a 41% drop ...

Re: Depreciation
We might have dodged the proverbial bullet selling the e in December 2020 after 2 years of ownership for £4k less than we paid for it. The same can’t be said for the SEAT Mii electric we own which, according to the article, has lost around 50% of its value. We bought it new in September 2021 for £17...
