Applegreen charger incompatible?
Hello all, Haven't been on here in a while, hope that everyone is doing well, and in general my e still fits the bill for me better than any car currently on the market. Today I was doing one of my rare >100 mile journeys, and stopped at the Applegreen chargers at Birchanger on the M11. After faffin...

Re: Door Handles
On another note, is anyone else having problems seeing their own posts? I've revisited this thread a few times, and only see my latest posts if I click on the notification that I've been replied to. I've had this quite a bit recently, to the point where I've created threads or double replied to thi...

Re: Door Handles
Read the small print on the warranty, it specifically doesn't cover door handles. Thank you for pointing that out - I was told the exact opposite, but of course what matter is what's in the legal blurb! Like you I was verbally told that they were covered, but upon reading the conditions I found out...

Re: Door Handles
The one thing that did interest me was that there is an option to extend the manufacturer warranty for three years for under £1k. As it would keep my door handles in full use I was quite tempted but was then told it didn't include diagnostic fees, and I'm yet to be convinced that is how warranties ...

Re: Door Handles
Even more minor update from me. I had my driver's door handle replaced on Wednesday. Of course it's far too soon to tell if it did anything but as the part was ordered even when it wasn't yet a big problem that might be telling in itself. I did ask as I was collecting it whether or not it was an imp...

Re: Door Handles
Same here too - Passenger side was replaced about a year ago and I'm having the driver's side replaced next week. The handles really seem to be the one major weak point in what otherwise seems to be a reliable car. Maybe the new ones fitted will be modified versions and last for decades, but I have ...

Re: DAB - Radio station logo
As far as I can tell, that is normal - my dash just shows the generic antenna icon and the name of the channel. If you have the app open on the centre screen then you can see the more detailed text broadcast, but I don't think I've ever seen any images. Anyone know if there is a more advanced versio...

Re: Honda Sustaina C (Concept)
My point was that Honda are obviously not making another Honda e variant, which the OP stated. One point around this which I’m perplexed by, is what is the point when the original Honda e body panels are made from a recyclable material anyway 🤦 hnda.jpg I believe this sums it up... If only Nissan h...

Re: Honda Sustaina C (Concept)
I agree that it doesn't look great, and though I loved my Smart for the short time I owned it, I probably wouldn't buy one - far more likely to get a longer range EV to complement the e in the future. But the one point I would make is that car companies rarely make anything remotely like their conce...

Re: Traffic sign recognition system display - Re-enabled on startup?
Quite a few villages in my area have set up imitation speed limit signs such as “20 is plenty” in a 30 mph zone. The car recognises the 20mph even though it's not legal. My question was not about the ability of the car to reckognise or not a sign but rather it's behavior on changing the ACC speed c...
