Great advice again. Many thanks.
This isn’t the first issue we’ve had with mice under the bonnet. We needed a screenwash pipe replaced earlier in the year after a small hole had been nibbled just off the pump. One of the downsides of rural living probably!

Re: Heater/air vents question
IMG_0069.jpeg Well, you were 100% right. The glovebox drops down quite easily to access the pollen filter. This is what I found, pollen filter chewed through and stained with mouse urine. Smell is horrible. I’ll probably need to see if I can drop the housing for the fan and check if I can remove mo...

Heater/air vents question
Had our E standing for 3-4 weeks, (needed to charge 12v battery). All was fine until I came to drive it and there’s a horrible sickly smell coming through the air vents. I suspect a mouse has got in and I’m inhaling mouse urine -or rotting mouse. The fan is making a noise too as if it’s rotating aga...

Re: Another price hike!
I took delivery on 2nd Sept, 2 weeks from my order. When I was purchasing, there was a significant stock of the advance model in all colours at Honda UK's central stock. They said there were various versions in the pipeline for arrival Oct/Nov. I never asked for the standard model, but I got the im...

Re: Insurance, heads up
Yeah, I didn’t find it expensive to insure ultimately (we’re boring 40-something non-criminals living in a low crime area) but I was just shocked that Aviva just turned the E down. They said: “ Unfortunately I can confirm that we're unable to cover this vehicle - our underwriting criteria means that...

Insurance, heads up
Our E Advance arrived today. Didn’t think too much about insurance and went to add it to our existing Aviva multi-car policy online. 3 attempts to do this on the website and two phone calls later, Aviva refuse to insure the E on multi-car even though they’ll quote you on a new policy via comparison ...
