Re: Range and charging rate.

That’s definitely just them quoting the specs. There’s no way they would have been able to do any meaningful range test during the short time they had the car that then came up with exactly the same figure.

Re: Old petrol car vs new electric car - which is greener?

That's brilliant! I have to admit, I always worry just how green it is to ever replace a car while it's still running, for a new vehicle, as I've no idea how many miles equivalent driving the new car has cost just to come into being. This video really helps put the numbers into perspective.

Honest John are saying range of 137 miles after their test.
Do you have a link to that? All I can find is their review quoting standard specs and Honda press release stuff.

Range and charging rate.

Looking at the images Rob has posted here: https://www.hondaeforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=81 A couple of somewhat worrying things: If there's 60% charge remaining, yet it's only got an estimated range of 76 km left, that would suggest a total range of only about 127 km (79 miles)!!! The picture wi...

Re: New interior option.

Yes the German site also had the external trim options from the start. I think I posted somewhere a picture of the yellow car with the blue trim (quite horrific). But while the UK site does now have those external trim options, and the interior seats (£1395), it doesn't have the (hideous) "bronze" d...

Re: Anyone ordered?

Update - Honda UK PR have told me customer deliveries in the UK from June. A little bit disappointed that we won't be able to drive our shiny new Honda e to Fully Charged Live this year, since they've shifted that forward from the second week in June to the beginning of May, and it looks like the H...

New interior option.

Seems there's perhaps a new interior option for the car. At least, I hope it's an option, and not what's coming as standard.

Re: Anyone ordered?

I’m getting a bit despondent with Honda’s lack of updates. This is what they promise when you first reserve: https://dj1a0w.am.files.1drv.com/y4m1K2qAHBO7I3G82YwuEJ80coQlSAtO7H8gr_v8PAuTZrOc9YbeOhhZ2ln4tUAipoVx-y7oh6MaSMyre0teLXXJ2IxwwCW4IB4KDabtmTfI-q2QPW4VKJ7O_E9dAjORdrIFehN_f3hbY9uLIqLGBMhFHLP_-I...

Re: Future battery enhancement to improve range

I agree with Electra. Possible a future version may see 40 kWh, but that would be a few years away. What I would challenge is, even in deepest darkest Norfolk, how much range do you REALLY need? What you probably need is a lot more 100 kW rapid chargers, but they will come long before the Honda e ge...
