Re: 12v Battery Best Practices

I am still on my factory battery (the car is 3 years old), zero issues so far (knocking on the wood). I haven't seen any evidence so far that leaving the car plugged in will affect the 12v battery in any way. There are several reports on this forum with 12v batteries dying when the car is plugged in...

Re: Charge to 80% or 100%?

You have to trust the Honda engineers know what they are doing for the advertsied lifetime of the battery. After all they installed an expenive heating/cooling system when some other manufacturers don't even bother. They put the limiter there for a reason, we know li-ion can last longer under certa...

Re: Michelin Pilot Sport 4 vs e-Primacy Tyres (20% better efficiency?)

Out of curiosity, why did you pick the e-Primacy over the standard Primacy tyre? I am considering replacing my Pilot Sport that came with the car with Primacy tyres, but I am leaning more towards the non e version. It seems that the e version has better rolling resistance values but at a cost of wor...

Re: DIY Fix: Door Handle not retracting

I admire the courage it takes to not only go blind into something like this but also document the whole process. Although I have to admit, that for someone like me, it needs more photos of the steps in the beginning or even a Youtube video to attempt it by myself. Sounds like there are lots of plast...

Re: Dead Honda e

I don't have the issue (yet) but I do have a thermal camera so I could take a look. What is the procedure you are suggesting? Waiting for a morning when no charging/preheating is scheduled, opening the fuse box and checking if anything is warmer than the rest of the things in there? Maybe the hood s...

Re: Bluetooth digital key

All bluetooth versions are backward compatible which means that your newer phone should have no issues connecting to any older bluetooth device. You can rule out this from the list of potential causes.

Re: Dead Honda e

Thanks for the update! Did you allow updates to be installed when the car is turned off? There was a prompt before the OTA. Maybe, it is a good idea to disable the option. I would rather spend five minutes waiting for the update to be installed than find my car with a dead 12v battery.

Re: Should I buy one?

Prior to the E I was driving Fiat 500 2014 for several years. Had to replace the door handles on that so I was not a stranger to door handle issues and the E didn't got me by surprise :) If the range is good for you, you can handle the handles not always retracting during winter months, some rattle ...

Re: Two lazy question

A proper human being would spend 5 minutes with the manual and then 30 seconds disabling the high beams, while I am turning it off each time I get into the car every winter for two years now. Thank you for the tip :D

More than a year in Lithuania. No mentioning on the dealer's website that it has ever existed.
