Re: Pop up hood warning

I'd consider removing the connector, and then using a length of wood placed horizontally behind the bracket to be able to pull from both sides at the same time with 2 hands.

Re: 12V battery issues

Until recently I've been using my car fairly regularly which I think has masked the fact that my battery was toast within 5 months from me owning my car from new. The original battery was completely drained by the door handle issue in less than 5 months and also several times since. The dealer would...

Re: Honda CR-V Gen.4. 2018 Garmin Maps install error

What do Honda say about this?
Also you'll probably get more specific help if you ask on the Honda CR-V Forum.

Re: Pop up hood warning

Even though that bracket does look bent, I couldn't see a crease in it.
This is what it should look, though the rust behind mine doesn't inspire any confidence in the rest of the car, but then again this is a Honda, so not unexpected.

Re: Wheel Alignment Perimeter

Hi, anyone knows the original perimeter for wheel alignment based on stock 17 inch alloy? I can't find it in the manual. I'm using tyre pressure of 240kpa (35psi) for all 4 wheels, normally driving alone without load. Running on PS4 which come with it and done 21,000km+, both front wheels wear fast...

Re: 12V battery issues

Somehow I failed to find this topic earlier this week after my 12v battery completely died, upon checking it was at 9.4v After trawling the internet for a replacement for the best value battery I ended up with same one: Yuasa Silver 5000 Series YBX 5053 50AH at a cost of about £70 from Halfords, usi...

Re: Help - warning lights all over dash

The brake servo issue had a long thread on the Jazz forum, where several people had issues and charged up to 2 grand by dealers to replace, some got a part contribution from Honda UK, and there was a poor dealer experience or two, and a lot of detail on the Japan recall, and questions why we should...

Re: Boot Lock Release Switch [Rear Boot Panels Disassembly]

Thanks FDAD for the photos & information.
This will make it a lot less stressful for anyone else trying to take off the panels to replace this part.

Re: Unable to start Honda e

Changed key fob battery and started. Seems to go through these wee batteries like sweets. Weird, I've had my car over 3 years and both fobs are on their original batteries, though I only use one of them. I use auto unlock/lock so it's rare I actually press a button on it, also do you leave you fob ...
