Re: Electrical Problems

Well that's interesting. My car was first registered on 3 June 2020, and the VIN ends in -LX200110. Still had the issue though. So even if Honda do a recall in Europe (not counting on it), it seems I haven't got a leg to stand on.

Re: Aerodynamic simulation

thanks for the feedback! i found the official drag coefficient here The drag coefficient in the linked article refers to the Fireblade motorcycle. The drag coefficient of the Honda e is not mentioned. I've tried to find an official figure myself, but can't seem to find it. I could only find an esti...

Re: Electrical Problems

People who had this failure did they use one pedal drive as their main driving mode? Trying to figure out if one pedal driving might increase the risk of failure. Good thought - it would also be good to know the rough temperature when the fault occurred in case it is related also. I don't think any...

Re: Electrical Problems

And they wonder why people are reluctant to switch to EVs. Whilst people might see that as hyperbole unrelated to the car being an EV - the part in question wouldn't be nearly so complicated/expensive/fault prone if it was an ICE equivalent. I would hazard a guess that the failure of the module is ...

Re: Electrical Problems

thanks, i presume it was out of warranty then?, do you mind me asking what it cost ? (or if you know what it would have cost if it was in warranty?) Thank you! The part itself was almost 1800 euro VAT included. Total cost over 2100 euro. Indeed out of warranty. My dealer said he would try to get Ho...

Re: Electrical Problems

Had the same issue last december. The car was at the dealer's for over a month because the part was in back order. You could ask your dealer for an 'urgent' delivery (my dealer used another term for it, but unfortunately I forgot). Apparently Honda has a two-tier system for spare parts orders. An 'o...

The Plug Life Television youtube channel (hosted by electrochemist Euan McTurk) has some excellent informative videos on all things EV, charging, etc..

Re: Help - warning lights all over dash

I began to see the same warning lights last december. First few times they went away after turning the vehicle off and on again. Eventually the warnings came on every single time. The car felt unsafe to drive, so I had my dealer come pick it up and look at it. It has been in at the dealer's since th...

Re: Any other countries seeing the end of imports?

I visited the Brussels Auto Show a few days ago, and was happy to see the little e is still very much a part of Honda’s lineup, with a constant stream of people who wanted to have a look inside. Probably not a lot of potential buyers though… ;)

Re: Faulty granny cable

My new Honda e came with a broken granny charger, but none of the lights on it came on at all. Dealer replaced it under warranty though it annoyingly took two trips - one for them to look at the old one and then another to collect the replacement they ordered. They were not able/willing to send the...
