Re: Tesla charger

When did you get this update? Did they provide any other information about this update? They updated the firmware after I had a charge error in early April this year. If I remember correctly they said the update was dated from summer 2022... They had no information on what the update did, no inform...

Re: Tesla charger

I feared Tesla chargers until my service center updated the firmware of my charger unit.
After this update I have had no issues with any charger (knock on wood). Even Tesla V2 chargers.

The quick plug in charge issue has been hitting me left and right until the update.

Re: New charge curve?

Temperature is the biggest factor in my experience too.
Even at <10% SoC you can get as low as 10kW if it is cold enough. -10C really kills it.
In Norway i never even saw 50kW last summer doing 1000++km road trips.

A stupid purchase... I regret nothing!

I think I might have gone a little too far with the obsession at this point.

Re: Hello from Norway

I have the same issue in Bergen. But not in summer, autumn.
So it is condensation collecting on the highest and least ventilated point.. I dry it sometimes with a cloth and on longer trips it disappears and stays gone for a couple of days.

Re: Blocking air intake to prevent heat-loss

I was thinking more in line of battery and motor cooling. It probably tries to reach optimal temps and then goes in a cycle for holding a temp by both cooling and heating. We get below -10 but i have not yet felt the need to take a longer trip to see the actual efficiency after it evens out. Would b...

Blocking air intake to prevent heat-loss

I assume this goes against the recommendations from the manufacturer. But in winter - would it help to prevent heat loss and excessive cooling to the system by blocking off the intake? I want to 3D print a cover with adjustable intake slats for reducing heat loss at high-ish speed. Would it affect t...

It has something to do with effect over time.
On my registration it says"Max. effect per half hour - 60 KW" and "Motorpower/effect 113 KW (154 HK)"

Re: Is Honda e in Japan better?

I've just checked the Honda e specs in the Honda Japan website: https://www.honda.co.jp/honda-e/common/pdf/honda-e_spec_list.pdf I don't know if this is new information but (using Google Translate) it mentions a capacity battery of 50 MWh. 動力用主電池種類 / 個数 / 電圧(V) / 容量(Ah) Assuming this is gross capac...
