Re: My Honda+ App iOS Update: Working as usual?

I'm hoping the e:Ny1 release in Europe will mean My Honda+ -app will be made available to more countries, like it was originally promised with Honda e.

Re: Quick question about battery charging

Only time will tell who is doing it right. Which means we will never know because by that time owner would have been changed more than twice most probably. True. So why be super careful careful now, if the time the battery would start showing degradation the value of the car is already substantiall...

Re: Quick question about battery charging

I charge to full every night. No matter how much I used it during the day. Sometimes I keep the car plugged in for many days in a row, I trust the cars BMS can handle all use cases. Honda provides a 8 year / 160 000 km / 70 % guarantee for the cars battery. Honda wouldn't provide that if they weren'...

Re: Hi all

The same should apply to the Honda e battery pack - it's similar to most electric car battery packs. The ID.3 58kWh has a nominal capacity of 62kWh. That's a 6,5% buffer. Where as Honda e has a useable capacity of 28.8kWh and nominal capacity of 35.5kWh. That's 18,9% buffer. So 100% charge isn't th...

Re: Hi all

Awesome, thank you! Considering the manufacturer recommends you to fully charge the battery each time, it would be silly not to do so. The manufacturer wouldn't recommend so if it was bad for the battery, since they're the ones who have to replace it if it falls to below 70% while under warranty.

Re: Hi all

The manual says to fully charge the battery each time. I usually charge it to 80%, and once a week to 100%. If it was harmful to fully charge the battery they wouldn't let you I can't find this info in my manual. Could you maybe post a screenshot/picture of this particular page from your manual? Th...

Re: Quick Plug-in charging system problem

Did you ask more about the update you got, was it a a completely new update from Honda or just the 12 volt system update everyone has been getting until now?

Weird enough, I've been charging with Kempowers for a couple of months in multiple locations and haven't had a single problem. Lucky me.

Re: Quick Plug-in charging system problem

I got call from Honda Service today related to this issue. They told that there is software update for Honda e and I scheduled installation with them for next week Monday. They also told that Kempower will have software update as well. That would be the first Honda e software update ever, right? Th...

Re: Quick Plug-in charging system problem

Any updates on this? I need to take a longer drive on the weekend and all the best (cheapest) charger locations on my route are all Kempower's. Weirdly enough, I charged 20+ times on Kempower's over the summer and have had no errors yet. Didn't even know there's a incompatibility until I read about ...
