Re: Failed brake servo/pedal simulator - a how-to DIY fix

You bought a used unit from a Jazz? Who’s to say it won’t fail in a couple of months either? Absolutely nothing of course, however if I am right in my suspicions and the brake fluid in the donor car was bled frequently, fully and correctly then the part may not fail. I guess it’s the chance I took ...

Re: Failed brake servo/pedal simulator - a how-to DIY fix

Fantastic investigations Dan and work and thank you so much for sharing. I use Automec in my classic Minis for example and it basically doesn't ever need changing....

I would expect that most dealers follow a standard process for bleeding...

Failed brake servo/pedal simulator - a how-to DIY fix

Hi all. I wanted to share some info that I hope will help current and future e owners with a very challenging, expensive and possibly dangerous fault with our lovely little cars. If you just want the fix, then please skip to the ‘solutions’ and ‘the fix’ part of the guide – I won’t be offended! If y...

Re: Help - warning lights all over dash

To the original poster and anyone with the multiple brake-related dashboard lights/dodgy brake pedal. I’ve just solved the same issue on mine, after a rather worrying, infuriating and (inevitably) ruinous financial outcome proposed by the main dealer.
