Re: Boot capacity and nostalgia

Totally agree with your point Advanced My first car was a VW Beetle 1200 L. It had a small space behind the rear seat you could wrestle a suitcase into. Or squashy bag in the front (original froot?). Or you could fold the rear bench seat down. And then slot items thru the door, with the front seat f...

Re: Slippiest car I've had

Which tyres and wheels do you have?
My car was a little slippery going around a sharp corner, but soon sorted itself out

12V battery failure

Used my 12V electric pump to inflate the four tyres by 0.2 bar each. When finished I realised the whole car was dead. I knew the traction battery was charged to about 80% So the 12V battery must have been drained. Luckily I have an old battery charger that was pushed into service Left for a couple o...

Re: Side mirror/camera view in D and R

Morning Dutch

That is a set up feature - like an ordinary wing mirror dipping when you engage R (my Mini used to do it)
I have not set it up for the e, because of all the other cameras around.
But based on your enthusiasm, I will test it.
Thank you for the prompt

Re: Rear view mirror camera

Hi Isow - can you provide a photo?
The camera for the central mirror screen is behind the rear window glass as you suggest. It is washed and cleared by the rear wiper. And the rear demister clears any fog. Or so I have found.
So I am uncertain of the bubble lens cover you mention
