Re: Drain hole blocked
Yes, I often have to clear out a drain hole - usually the one on the left (passenger) side of the windscreen. I have a nail that I leave near the front door of my house so that I can quickly use that to unblock a drain hole whenever I notice that one is blocked. I suspect it is debris blowing off th...

Re: 12v Battery issues - is Lithium the solution
I bought my Honda e about the same time as you (September 2020), although I don't drive it as much as most people - my car has only done about 6,300 miles so far! However, from the first week that I bought it, I have charged up the 12V battery once a week with a smart charger (currently a CTEK 5A ch...

Re: Dead Honda e
The 12V battery going flat is a problem that a lot of BEVs have had, or have, and it's not unique to the Honda e. The original Nissan LEAF had a problem with 12V batteries going flat, which was much less of a problem with the second generation (40kWh) LEAF. I have had both so I was in the habbit of ...

Re: Rear seat warning
It's quite simple really. If you open a rear door within the 10 minutes before you start a journey, then when you end your journey it will put up the reminder. It is simply a reminder that you may have put something in the back of the car, e.g. a laptop computer or notepad in the pocket on the back ...

Re: OBD2 app
The problem is that this is NOT the usable capacity which is easily proven by running the car until it runs out of power, then charging back to 100%. Bjorn didn’t run the car until zero SoC but ran it low and extrapolated the capacity from this information. I believe that Bjorn's test was driving t...

Re: Ongoing 12v battery problem
This was with using a 12v battery maintenance charger, trying to leave HV plugged in etc etc. typically dying in less than a week while on holiday. If the charge cable is left plugged in then it will only trickle charge the 12V battery (at 13.3V, or 13.6V if the A/C preconditioning is on) if the ca...

Re: Brushing sound at lower speeds?
Are you sure it's not the pedestrian warning sound that the car makes at low speeds?
