Re: Pathetic 3 year warranty

Yes, it's the same in GB. As I said previously, Honda's 3-year warranty applies to the car itself.

Re: Pathetic 3 year warranty

I traded in a Kia Picanto and granted it wasn't the most exciting car to drive it was totally dependable. I too was attracted by Honda's reputation for quality but the e's ludicrously small boot and limited range dissuaded me in the end. I'm not sure whether the 3-year Honda warranty applies to all ...

Re: Pathetic 3 year warranty

You encapsulate my own feelings about the e and the Z exactly. I'd be interested to hear your impressions of the French contender after you've had a test drive. I think you're based in Holland but if you were domiciled here in the UK it's presently a buyer's market for potential Zoe purchasers. Ther...

Re: Pathetic 3 year warranty

Very interesting indeed. For months in the run-up to a decision I ummed and arred, my sentiments oscillating between the Honda e and the Renault Zoe. On the former I especially like the innovative door cameras, which at a stroke make mirrors look terribly outdated; the latter won the day on points, ...

Re: Pathetic 3 year warranty

I was referring to the car warranty. Even Renault, not exactly renown for reliability and build quality, has recently upped its warranty to five years. Honda, with a fine record of achievement in this area, have yet to fall awake and have similar confidence in their products.

Sorry, Honda, you failed to fall awake

Last Sunday a dealer emailed me inviting my custom. Although I received an instant acknowledgement to my enquiry (obviously automatic, computerised) I've since heard nothing. That dealer is working under exactly the same constraints as all dealers of whatever manufacturer in these difficult times bu...

Has demand for the e fallen?

'Interesting' to learn this morning via an email lrom one of the area dealers that Honda has dropped its previously astronomical £800.00 reservation fee to just £99.00... I've no way of knowing but I'd guess the move (not sure if it's a nationwide announcement or simply a local initiative) reflects ...

Re: Charging to 80% capacity bayrry capacity

I find your replies most interesting and absorbing. Thank you. Obviously different strokes for different folks as the old saying has it. The small boot, I agree, will be ok for supermarket shopping purposes (I'm single, so no king-size family grocery needs) but I doubt it'll accommodate a large suit...

Charging to 80% capacity battery capacity

Again (re 80% battery charging etc) thanks, you're very knowledgeable about electric cars. Several thoughts arise. You mention charging to 100% battery capacity. I gather that though the beast can be juiced up on a rapid charger (when you can find one in my area, more on that in the next paragraph) ...
