Re: 22kw/h?

Had to rename the topic from "22kw/h?" to "22 kW?" for my own sanity. Sorry. Repeat after me: W = Watt. A derived unit of power. Power is an amount of energy used over unit time, in this case the unit of energy being a Joule and the unit of time being a Second, i.e. 1 Watt = 1 Jo...

Re: WiFi hotspot subscription

Vodafone have always been overpriced IMO. Presumably they've done a deal whereby they provide the cars data link in exchange for having the exclusive rights to provide services such us this to the car's "owner". It's like SIM locked phones all over again, but this time we've paid £30k for...

Re: Lowest charge state?

Got it down to about 4% a few weeks ago, to be honest there wasn't a noticeable difference in performance. The acceleration might've taken a slight hit and there was a warning message on the dashboard, but nothing else... Was tempted to get it all the way down to 1% to see what it did, but wasn't f...

Re: When did the app map start having a dark palette?

Can't say I've looked at the map much, but the Journey data on mine doesn't work so it's not much use to me anyway.

Re: WiFi hotspot subscription

It was really bloody hard to find out the pricing from the website. They clearly don’t want to be upfront about it and want you to sign up for the trial first. Anyway, here’s the full list. Re: 22kw/h?

I wonder what the Chademo configuration will offer in terms of AC throughput, CHAdeMO is DC rapid charging only. Wikipedia says: "CHAdeMO is the trade name of a quick charging method for battery electric vehicles delivering up to 62.5 kW by 500 V, 125 A direct current via a special electrical ...

Re: BP Chargemaster

the subscriptions are for regular users, it reduces their costs, if you do a lot of travelling it could save you money but you do then tie yourself to particular services. It's not for me, but I guess car manufacturers could bundle in a few years subscriptions on a new car to tempt people? Great, b...
