Ok, thanks Marmite for the update! so does just seem to be related to individual accounts and not the iOS update. mine is still down, last time it managed to show up to date info was 5 days ago.

Good question I guess we won't really know until it's rolled to more homes and realworld data is collected and analysed. There does seem to be major benefits for it, so I'd expect it to become a norm in the next few years.

Totally agree about the RDM, it's really poor and at least once or twice per drive on country roads it pulls me toward oncoming traffic, I can't think of any occasion where it's done the right thing.
Would much prefer to have the option to turn it off completely.

I'd be surprised if it was bad for the battery, the discharge rate would surely be a fraction of what the drive motor pulls from the battery? Also the amount of kwh pulled from the battery would be much lower than driving.
