Will you be ordering another “e”?
Prompted by a recent letter from Honda Finance, suggesting I might like to plan ahead to 2023 and think about ordering another Honda e for when my PCP runs out, I thought I would ask the question. My initial order was a “heart over head” moment, so for me it's an expensive option, which I doubt I ca...

Re: My Honda+
I collected my pre-loved E on Thursday (and loving it so far). When I asked the Dealer about installing the App, it was a rolling of eyes and hands in the air reaction as he acknowledged that the App is a "problem". He did what was needed re. the TCU, gave me some instructions and wished ...

Re: 12v auxiliary battery charging
Guys, sorry to read of these issues. Worth checking out post BM2 Battery Monitor . Since having one installed and a new 12V under warrantee I understand a little more how to “manage” your 12V battery. When you PowerUp your car, the 12V immediately starts charging at either 14+Volts or may drop to 13...

Re: Do the driving dynamics of the E make it all worthwhile?
Of course Parker87 was lucky to be able to arrange a Test Drive before making the switch! Some of us registered our interest and put down a deposit long before cars were even available to professional reviewers. And yes, we placed our orders and committed to buying, just based on the spec’s. I did m...

Just imagine that you open up your Banking App, and it tells you your Balance the last time you drove past a bank, or happened to get a good 4G signal. Honda need to try harder. At my age, life is too short.

Re: Electric Performance
I don't believe that Sport mode has any performance impact, it only adjusts the accelerator pedal and steering wheel feel. Yes, you are right. It doesn’t change the amount of torque or power available. I wasn’t in Sport when above occurred. But it does help you launch a fraction quicker, unless you...

Re: Electric Performance
Was standing at a traffic light the other day next to a very young person (YouTuber?) with a Ferrari. No idea what kind, but it was wide, low and very red. The driver was busy making the engine rev, that sounds so nice, right? I thought, let's see who is faster. So I selected the "sport" ...

Electric Performance
For some time I have thought that the performance stats like 0-62 time and 152bhp understate the power of the “e” in comparison to ICE cars. Today, we were driving home from Bristol. In front were 2 cars following a bus. Coming out of Midford on the B3110 initially there are double white lines. The ...

Re: Do the driving dynamics of the E make it all worthwhile?
Glad to see you are getting more positive comments now. While I appreciate that you are trying to “justify” the expensive switch to an “e” based on driving appeal, I thought I would add some comments about the tech. I think part of the high cost is due to engineering, good battery management, waterc...

Re: Do the driving dynamics of the E make it all worthwhile?
Some of the comments here make me wonder what people expect from “a drivers car” Not sure why people knock EVs because they miss the sounds, engine revs, etc. Seems so retro now. Been there, done that. Performance*, handling, ergonomics, ease of driving, get in go - the e has these IMO but what does...
