Re: Do the driving dynamics of the E make it all worthwhile?

Surprised by some of the comments here from esp from londiniumperson, so here is what I think. I’m retired, just turned 73 yesterday, so my eyesight and reaction times are not what they used to be. It is time I “slowed down” a little. But I think the “e” is great fun to drive and is quite quick enou...

Re: BM2 Battery Monitor

A short follow up to my post yesterday, which confirms my original. My High Volt SoC was 76% this morning, so didn't really need to “plug in” my granny. But my 12V was at 72% which soon dropped to 70% so I plugged in for just over an hour. High Volt now at 85% and 12V a healthy 99% You can also see ...

Re: 12 volt battery

Hi, With a Honda e, is the 12-volt battery also charged when the high-voltage battery is being charged? Thanks in advance! Mathieu Hi Mathieu, It's been awhile since you started this thread. I can confirm that you car will charge your 12V every time you recharge your High Voltage battery. Also when...

Re: BM2 Battery Monitor

The fact is the Honda e has a lot of tech onboard- cameras, radar, sensors, regen, displays etc all running off the 12V system. If you go out for a short run 5-6 miles the car doesn’t have time to top up your 12V. I have got into the habit of letting the car “warm up” before driving away, if I know...

Re: BM2 Battery Monitor

For those of you that may, like me, leave your car in your garage for 2-3 days (or parked up in your drive) please take note. Having had issues with 12V I now have a new battery under warrantee. And the BM2 lets me know the 12V State of Charge (SoC). Having seen the SoC drop from 98/94% to 70% in a ...

My Honda+ App: has the novelty warn off?

So I realised today that the last time I used the App in anger, was to confirm Ownership prompted by Honda's email. Haven’t used it since, and hardly ever use the App now. Curious to know whether folks use the App on a regular basis, and if so, what for? In the early days it was a novelty and we all...

Re: Real World Economy

It's not a competition guys, just posted as a guide for others, possibly potential buyers, who might be put off by the sources I mentioned. Yes, my average speed will be lower than many of you commuting to work via twin tracks at 70mph. And those living near M27 - if you drop below 70 around there y...

Re: Hello from Latvia!

Don't be disappointed that you can't have My Honda + app. Although it has improved of late, most of us have “lost too hours” trying to get App working etc. You can schedule pre-heat and charging using settings in your car's menu. And you will have more time to do better things. Enjoy your car. Don't...

Re: Hi all, what in the world have I done?

Well I think everyone has already said it, but welcome. We don't understand why more people don't buy the “e” but your reaction is shared by us. Heart over head decision it may be, but you only live once. By careful on those bikes. Enjoy your e - nice rims and colour - my 2nd choice

Real World Economy

Some of the professional reviewers and online stats quote economy for Honda e at under 4.0m/kWh - I have seen some reviews quoting as low as 3.0m/kWh - and 3.7 seems common. I know many use a “Rule of Thumb” as 1 mile = 1% of battery, but as you can see, even on “faster runs” I never drop below 1mil...
