Re: Unexpected happenings
As long as I know, the Honda e does not have a heat pump. If it would, Honda would advertise with it. Which they dont. It should be an electric coolant heater. It definitely does not have a heat pump; it uses a very inefficient PTC heater, which has a significant impact on the efficiency/range on c...

Re: BP Chargemaster/Polar Plus
I would recommend Instavolt at Longbridge Deverill on A350 Slightly further West on A303, but well worth the extra miles. 2 Chargers. Contactless. Reliable. Or take A36 and detour thru Sutton Veny - good straight road Thanks again. That seems a good alternative seeing as I'd be low on juice by then...

Re: On a frosty morning
Had doors freeze on most cars I've owned at some point, but was definitely more of an issue on the wife's old BMW Mini, again with frameless windows on the doors. I agree, my previous car was a 2003 R53 Mini Cooper S which with its frameless doors was a pain on frosty mornings. It often failed to l...

Re: BP Chargemaster/Polar Plus
Thanks for update, especially as that's the charger that the route planners advise me to use if I need to go to Westbury for the 150 mile round trip in the Honda which I'll need to do once a year or so.

Who is your airtime provider?
Not all allow tethering/hotspot on all the data plans.

Re: My Honda+
Presumably this is while they port the server from the current Z80 processor to something snappier. Maybe 68000 based. Well, that's obviously where they went wrong. They should have started with a 6502. As Harry would say: Which is better, Z80 or 6502? There's only one way to find out: FIGHT! tenor...

Re: 16" wheels air pressure
The 17" requires 2.3 bar. Someone should have told my dealer. I got my winter wheels mounted last week, and the TPMS warning came up as I left their forecourt. They spent 20-odd minutes fiddling with the system, only for it to go off again 15 minutes later. Once I’d inflated the rear wheels fr...
