Re: Quick question about battery charging
Hi everyone! Quick one. I use about 30% battery everyday. What is better for battery degradation: a) Charging everyday to 80% (so plugging when it's at 50%), or b) Charging every second day to 90% (so plugging when it's at 30%)? Thanks!! If you can, to 80% and you can get to 30% if you want to, you...

Re: Is Honda e in Japan better?
It also says the motor is 60 kw, so 113kw must be peak power... It has something to do with effect over time. On my registration it says"Max. effect per half hour - 60 KW" and "Motorpower/effect 113 KW (154 HK)" It would be nice to have that properly explained.. Based on the abo...

Re: Type2 cable won’t lock and charge
Edit: the dealership said that they didn’t find anything wrong and the charging was ok. Now I’m back at the same place and magically it works. The car have 30% now. I’m thinking maybe it was because it was too low the battery, but even that sound strange for me. Thoughts? My thought is a faulty con...

Re: Type2 cable won’t lock and charge
You still got plenty of range at 14% isn't there any other charger nearby? That usually means the plug isn't all the way in or the charger is defective.

Re: All app shortcuts gone can’t access apps
Hi folks. Strange one. Got in the car there and all the app shortcuts on the right of the screen are blank and the ‘all apps’ button does nothing. Aside from pulling the fuse (which fuse) is there any way to reset the system? Thanks. If the fuse trick doesn't work and the system keeps unresponsive ...

Re: Volkswagen ID.2 - What a 2nd gen Honda e could have been?
Are there any examples of new, or newish, electric cars that it has been possible purchase an upgraded battery from the manufacturer for? Iirc there was some people that were able to upgrade the battery on their BMW i3s from the 60Ah to 96Ah. Cant remember if anyone said they upgraded to the 120Ah....

Re: Tire choice for Winter - best for Efficiency / Range
Looks like the 250 km range estimation was pretty accurate since at 50% it was right on 125 km range left. The temperatures were at around 10 degrees, rainy. Overall daily commute around 50 km with half of it being 90 kmh highway and the other half city traffic. Still can't believe how inefficient ...

Re: Ongoing 12v battery problem
Just to share my expeience, I've had my car for just over two years (since September 2020) and the 12v battery is still okay (so far!). As I've retired I don't have a daily commute, and I've only covered just over 4,000 miles in those two years. Typically I would use the car a minimum of 4 times a ...
