Re: Charging schedule again!
Yes, the car is fine, but the app update (presumably from the new subscription model) seems to have a bug or two that need sorting.

Re: Charging schedule again!
I see if the "not charge" schedule is across 2 days, from 8 o'clock in the morning to 2 o'clock in the morning the next day, but that is totally un-intuitive (just like telling it not to instead of when you want it to). And then why should the app keep saying your car isn't charging every ...

Re: Charging schedule again!
Yes, that's exactly how the car works, you set when it is not to charge in 24 hour numbers, so why does the app say it is across 2 days? It is not so on the car screen.

Charging schedule again!
I've always had the charging schedule set to 8.00 to 2.00 so the car charges at night. Since the app has been updated it also says the schedule is 8.00 to 2.00 but underneath says this is across 2 days!!! and now I get a notification every morning that the car is not charging. Has the app a fault fo...

Re: Dead Honda e
it says in there to charge to 100% each day to protect the battery. It's possible Honda do not use the maximum power of the battery and the management system stresses the cells in rotational order and never to absolute maximum, thus the manual charge to 100% dashboard advice which is not actually 1...

Re: 12v battery was dead and now alive?
Thanks, yes I only connect the charger after the car is double locked with the bonnet on first click for the cable gap, and only then switch on the charger power. Trying it while the HV charger is connected and working would indeed be imbecilic. The red led does not blink with the bonnet open but th...

Re: 12v battery was dead and now alive?
The Honda does have a current sense on the negative battery terminal, and I suspect this is part of the problem why it will not charge. It will attempt to charge it, see that it is not accepting current, and stupidly assume that it is fully charged (As in an intelligent charger , the bulk charging ...

Re: Door Handles
Yes the reliability figures are worrying, I was told a lot of that decline was due to the prevalence of turbo failure on the 1 litre Civic, I always thought that engine on a big car like that was too good to be true, so would never consider buying one. Honda dropped the ball badly there.
