Re: Electrical Problems
Just back from my appointment with my dealer on my own failure and they've diagnosed as expected the (now dreaded) simulator failure (part: Electric Servo Brake (“Brake Booster”) - 01469-TYF-J01 SIMULATOR SET, BRAKE OPERATING (REWRITABLE) as discussed in the spares part thread). I've been given the ...

Re: E:ny1 for a day
Thanks for the insight, I guess we can add to the list of obvious omissions, that's there's no OPD mode.

Re: 12v Battery Best Practices
All good stuff, thanks all! I too am on the original 12v and so far, it's holding up. I've always judicious in pumping the brake the moment I get into the car, to switch on the traction battery (the doubled ended green arrow on the dash), even if I'm not planning to get anywhere, so maybe that's bee...

Re: New owner with a couple of questions
6. Yeah, it's not uncommon. It always seems to be that screen, it doesn't seem to get worse (it's happened on mine once a month or so since it was delivered).

Re: Electrical Problems
People who had this failure did they use one pedal drive as their main driving mode? Trying to figure out if one pedal driving might increase the risk of failure. Good thought - it would also be good to know the rough temperature when the fault occurred in case it is related also. I don't think any...

Re: Electrical Problems
Sorry to hear about the price though, that's pretty rough! around 10% of the purchase price, or maybe 20% of the 2nd hand price given the recent plummet in values. Scary to think about... Given I'm about to get an estimate for a similar amount when mine gets seen in a few weeks (finally), it's real...

Re: Electrical Problems
a quick update - the car in this morning - its apparently the Pedal Feel Simulator Set - and its going to cost £2679 including fitting to get fixed. Absolute joke  From the spares thread, the part suggested was; Electric Servo Brake (“Brake Booster”) - 01469-TYF-J01 SIMULATOR SET, BRAKE OPER...

Re: Electrical Problems
The part itself was almost 1800 euro VAT included. Total cost over 2100 euro. Indeed out of warranty. My dealer said he would try to get Honda Belgium to cover the cost, because apparently he found out that there were several similar cases (not sure if he meant only in Belgium). Honda refused becau...
