Re: Do the driving dynamics of the E make it all worthwhile?
I'm glad that your gamble has paid off for you Advance 2020, particularly as your main usage is on rural roads. Similarly, my main usage is on rural B roads and in small towns, and I find the E to be very well suited to this environment, which is great. Well done Honda.

Re: 12v auxiliary battery charging
Thanks for the advice Advance2020. I've now ordered a Ctek Comfort Connector with Battery Charge Indicator so I'll do as you suggest re. HV charging and keep an eye on the state of the 12V via the Indicator. All good fun!

Re: 12v auxiliary battery charging
Thanks again Milligoon - I think I'm going to need to get a connector with either 8 or maybe 10mms eyelet. Not a problem though.
But, I'm too busy enjoying driving the car to get under the bonnet just yet!

Re: My Honda+
I collected my pre-loved E on Thursday (and loving it so far). When I asked the Dealer about installing the App, it was a rolling of eyes and hands in the air reaction as he acknowledged that the App is a "problem". He did what was needed re. the TCU, gave me some instructions and wished m...

Re: 12v auxiliary battery charging
Get the socket with terminals on for the CTEK then fix to battery they come in a range ring terminal sizes. No bulky clips then to ping off https://www.ctek.com/uk/battery-chargers-12v-24v/connect-eyelet-m6 https://www.ctek.com/uk/battery-chargers-12v-24v/car-battery-chargers/connect-eyelet-m8 http...

Re: 12v auxiliary battery charging
Thanks Milligoon.
But, as a matter of technical principle, would you connect the negative clamp to the negative terminal of the battery itself? I read somewhere that you shouldn't do that, so on my Mazda, I connected it to a clamp near to but not on the battery. Thanks.

Re: 12v auxiliary battery charging
A quick bump on this topic please. I'm collecting my E next week and I've been in the habit of keeping the 12V on my current EV topped up in situ by using a Ctek 5.0 charger. I'd like to do the same with my E but am wondering where people are attaching the Negative clip of their chargers? Any advice...
