Re: Do the driving dynamics of the E make it all worthwhile?
Well, I had my Test Drive of the E today. I was kindly allowed to go solo and was given an hour to drive around, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I thought that it was a bit noisier than my MX30 but not enough to be a problem. The build quality is maybe a little inferior to the Mazda but was good enough ...

Re: Do the driving dynamics of the E make it all worthwhile?
You indicated that your CRZ was noisy, right? So my question is, what did you do with it? Was a joke. Aah, I see. I sold the CRZ after a couple of years, but not because it was noisy - I was having trouble with my left knee following an accident at work so I decided to buy a car with an auto gearbox.

What would you have done with it? I also had a CRZ, but it wasn't that noisy. The e is not a CRZ, because its centre of gravity was lower, cause car is much lower, but it was cunning in the corners if you took it too fast, because of the battery pack in the back. Re: Electric Performance
I do hope that Electric Performance doesn't turn you into a Senior Delinquent A2020!
But it's good to know that the performance is there.

Re: Do the driving dynamics of the E make it all worthwhile?
Thanks FDAD, Advance2020, and Turntoport. Your positive comments are encouraging, and I'm very much looking forward to my test drive on Friday. To be fair to the MX30, it has most of the tech that the E has, plus HUD, a heat pump, and an opening sunroof, which is particularly welcome at the moment. ...

Re: Order Update: no more base models
I suppose that if production of the E does end soon, it'd be sad but at least it's more likely that, with such low numbers sold, it will become a Classic in due course.

Re: Do the driving dynamics of the E make it all worthwhile?
Thanks Advance2020. It's the fun element that I hope to find with the E and I agree that engine sounds etc. aren't needed in order to have fun. As for the dog-crate, I put the back seats down now because the dog whines if he can't see me, so the E will be fine. Regarding reviews, I'm glad that Jonny...
