Re: Navigation without audio

Thanks Mililigoon for your reply! There is no volume drop at all! I think it's just a softwareproblem as there are so many of those. Just this evening I noticed that the 230V outlet is not working either (never used, so it couldn't be a blown fuse). And besides that I have an intermittent problem w...

Re: Hi from Dunedin New Zealand

Are Vertu Honda office NZ dealers for the e? I didn't think it was officially available there, and at least one other forum user has purchased in the UK and then shipped it over. If it is officially available there now, then all these services should work. Otherwise, no chance sadly. The car doesn't...

Re: 230v power outlet

Are you sure that's not in reference to the 12 V accessory socket? The English manual definitely states power must be on for the 230 V outlet. 2021-07-04 (2).png 2021-07-04 (3).png I have no issue with the vehicle having to be "On" to use the socket. So long as it's in Park, and the Parkin...

Re: *GARMIN SATNAV UPDATE - NOW FIXED!!!*

Yeah, I too grabbed the fix when it was briefly available before, and it now seems to be available again. 2021-07-04.png 2021-07-04 (1).png There's no way of knowing if this new version is identical to the one that I already have or not, since this "Reinstall Map" option appeared for me wh...

30710 (includes paint 460 + delivery 550) - 3000 grant = 27710
Just to clarify then, did you pay £31,710, £30,710 or £27,710?

Re: EV charger box grant in England for the 2nd time!?

From what I make of it, if you have two EVs at the time of application, you can claim your second grant. As I understand it, you claimed a second grant to already for the Andersen A2, right? If so, then to claim again would be a third grant, but you don’t have three EVs (concurrently). Not sure a th...

Re: Hello

Save money hell yes!!! Call me cheap, poor whatever you want. I don't think anyone is doing that. I work hard for what I have and this is not my first out of the box purchase so definitely aware of dealership wrangling. Those guys on the Honda showroom don't even know how to work the app or the one...

Re: Security

The use of the door handle wouldn’t help against a relay attack, because a relay attack isn’t using the signal sent from the fob button, but rather amplifying the NFC signal so the car thinks the fob is nearby. I’m not sure how such an attack would work, other than getting in to the car, since the c...

Re: Hello

Welcome eHonda. I don’t think Londi was suggesting at any point that your decision wasn’t in any way “sensible”. I think it was just genuine interest, since for a long time only the Advance model was available to order. Personally though, if the decision to get a standard is an economic one, I’d be ...
