Re: Tire choice for Winter - best for Efficiency / Range

My average consumption is 16 - 17 kw/100km. Mathematically 17 compared to 14,7 won't give me 237 km range not at 90%, not at 100. To be honest, I don't understand. You have a point, 14.7 at 100% would give around 193km assuming the prediction is sticking with the usable 28.5kwh capacity, is the pre...

Re: Pre-conditioning and range?

Cabin conditioning makes no difference to my battery as I run it when plugged into the car, I generally use it on early shift in the winter for around 20 minutes before I leave for work at 5:30. I am not convinced that it does do anything for the battery range etc, my cars battery predicted range se...

Re: Ongoing 12v battery problem

The cause is simple they are to small a capacity to hold charge for a long period given the nature of these cars never really being off.

Re: Andersen EV in Administration

Mine is still working in normal mode accessed via app for schedules & solar settings etc, when it stops giving access I'll simply reset it into fall back mode. It'd be nice if someone could pick up the cloud service even if it means paying a nominal annual fee, or maybe they could let you run th...

Re: Citroen oli concept

My smart Roadster is only 790kg, my Morgan 3.0 V6 Roadster was only 950 kg, my GT86 was only 1200 kg, my Honda e (small city car!) Is 1600kg the same weight as my old 1.9 TDI Audi A4 Avant was. Unfortunately currently batteries are a heavy old lump. I like light cars, but I'll admit heavy cars have ...

Re: The very very big brother of the e.

Instantly reminded me of the current range of the XC60, had one, dog puked up in it because of the dark rear space replaced with a 2004 V70 which the dog loves the greenhouse like rear and only cost £1250.

Waiting for decent EV estate myself.

Re: My Honda+ App and subscriptions

I used the remote locking many times, as well as the charge monitoring - but the best feature is remote precondition - whilst you can schedule that, being able to just tap to warm up or cool down the car when you are heading back to it is super useful, especially this summer! sTeVE The precondition...

Re: Localisation disturbed – GPS|iPhone|Apple CarPlay

Android auto has screwed up the nav (various apps) last few updates, it could be that.

Re: Anybody updated the Map yet?

I use it when android auto based nav apps bomb out after an android auto update (bug implementation) buggers them up.

My favourite AA nav app is Amigo by Tom Tom when it isn't bugging out that is.
