Haha, I used the wife's e for a tip run after about 3 days of ownership! Just keep the inside well protected, no problem at all.

Re: Hi from Cambridgeshire!

Hey langsta! I'm also in Cambridgeshire. We have still yet to see another e on the road other than the dealer's demo car! I'm not sure there's the claimed difference in range between the wheel options. We can get as low range as everyone else in winter on 17s. The ride is definitely softer on 16s an...

Re: AC Fast Charging

Can anyone of you that has their own 7.2 kW home charger confirm how much power the car can take (for charging only, not charging AND heating)? I regularly see a 'flat-top' when we're charging overnight using a Zappi 2 of over 7kW. It tapers off at about 97-98% and trickles in the last bit. I can't...

Re: 6 months and counting

Over 2800 miles here. It's been a great little car. I've even used it to get rid of a fitted wardrobe and garden waste in one trip! Carplay works great, it's comfortable, in the summer the AC works really well, and being able to pre-condition the car in the winter months is fantastic. Heated steerin...

Re: Auto door unlock issue

That's great Barry, glad you got to the bottom of it. We started using Faraday pouches in November and they work really well. I'd recommend testing them by placing the key in the pouch, walking up to the car, getting the key out of the pouch, the car should communicate with the key and the handles w...

Re: Auto door unlock issue

The auto pop-out handles? Not even when you're standing next to the driver's door? If that's the case it must be a very noisy (in radio frequency terms) area.

Re: Boot capacity and nostalgia

The Honda e has the smallest boot size of any car either my wife or I have owned. I needed to double check that! The smallest I've had was my Fiat Unos, and both the Streetka and MX-5 NC my wife has had are larger in capacity, but actually I find it's the boot lid that limits the aperture to loading...

Re: Average energy usage during cold weather

The range really jumps up on one pedal, urban driving, even with all the extras switched on. I've been thinking that too. The times I've driven the car on the same journey but used 1-pedal instead, the extra regen makes a bigger difference than I'd assume it would. I can't quantify it, but it's def...
