The problem was solved after disconnecting the automatic wireless Apple CarPlay connection and then pairing again.

No – in my opinion there are hardly any reasons to fight for this software.
I only use it to check the state of charge and monitor the charging process (always charge at public charging points in the city area).

By any means don't be depressed :) I think the E is a great car, drives great, just dont expect to get much out the screens it's so famous about. ;) The only grudge I hold against Honda is the fact that I prefer not to be lied about and loose expectations than not even have them in the first place....

The good thing is: it will disappear suddenly again (until it comes back a few months later) after opening and closing the window several times. I suspect it has something to do with the a sensor that is supposed to prevent fingers from getting caught....
