Re: Can someone explain the basics of the Honda E?

there arent that many options right now Zoe Tesla e can all be had around or below 30k And of course, the Nissan LEAF, which is the best selling electric car that's been around since 2011, so there are cheaper secondhand LEAFs available. They're great cars, nice to drive. The second generation, fro...

Re: Breaking & recuperation

I assume those regen levels are what gets applied when you come off the throttle. Actually it doesn't have a throttle! ;) Only petrol powered internal combustion engined cars have a throttle (to throttle the amount of air entering the engine). Diesel engined cars and electric cars don't have a thro...

Re: Breaking & recuperation

I assume (and hope) it's different: The three recuperation levels (on the right of the picture) will be applied during "one pedal diving" – when you come off the throttle. In "normal" mode we will glide (or whatever you call it in English – "segeln" in German) when the...

Re: Breaking & recuperation

I don't speak that language, but I understand it to be saying that in normal 'D' mode you can choose between 0.04, 0.06, 0.08 or 0.10g of regenerative braking when you take your foot completely off the accelerator pedal. In the one-pedal mode you can choose between 0.10, 0.14 or 0.18g of regenerativ...

Re: Honda e can self park

Not sure why it’s so confusing. The first image is a simulated view constructed using the external cameras, “looking” forwards. The image from the seconds post shows a rear-view mirror equivalent shot (from the rear camera, flipped horizontally), so the left/right wrt the driver facing forward is n...

>> If that information was available when you ordered (when was that btw), then why is it not presented on Honda’s public website I ordered a car on 12th December. I would like to have more detailed information on the Honda website too. I can only guess that Honda haven't finalised some of the small...

Re: Greetings from sunny Cumbria

Back in December, just before I ordered a Honda e, I had a live chat via the Honda e registration web page, and I asked when demonstration cars would be available to drive. I was told in the Spring, so hopefully sometime in March.

Re: Wheels!

When the salesman was selecting the 16" wheels when I ordered my car, I spotted on the web page that it said 127m range for the Advance with 17" wheels and 133m with the 16" wheels, and it's 136m for the base model Honda e. That implies about a 4.5% reduction in range for the larger w...

Re: Honda e can self park

That picture of the car reversing into a car park space doesn't look right to me (second post, by RAL7004). The rear-view camera display looks to be a mirror image. The overhead shot shows the dark grey car on the left and the silver car on the right, but the rear view shows the cars the other way r...
