Re: Brake dust

To be precise, you can set the deceleration behaviour when you take the foot of the throttle control, you cannot set the "regen level". Check out the technical documentation available on Honda Maris.

Re: Brake dust

No. You cannot determine how much braking is done by regen or by the brake pads. The car will always try to use regen as much as possible - check your energy flow display, you are regenerating when you press the brake pedal even with one pedal driving switched off.

Re: At 80% charge what range is yours showing

I would not take these figures too seriously, as it very much depends on your driving profile over the last few kilometers. When I go to work, I have 450m altitude difference (14km), and the car is showing 50km more range when I arrive...

Re: Unexpected happenings

Yeah, it heats up the liquid in the heating circuit. Its not even using the excess heat from the fluids cooling the battery and the engine, some more intelligent layouts are capable to do that.

Re: What a Muppet!

I am successfully using a 256GB stick with FAT32 formatting. However the music presentation is underwhelming. No cover flow like in my BMW, no possibility to group in genres... For a next generation "iPhone"-like car I would have expected a much more pleasant user experience.

Re: Battery management cooling when stationary and not plugged in to a charger

Yeah thats also what I understood. The question is: If you preset the heating at a certain time - will the car then also pre-condition the battery? ;)

If you look at table 2 (almost at the end of the page), you can see some interesting graphics regarding this topic (switch the translation to english on ;)):

Re: Connected services subscriptions activation

You need to be in your car when activating a subscription. The car must be in "ready to drive" mode, fasten your seatbelt to prevent the car to shut-down. Also please do not activate more than one subscription at a time.

Re: Can you default the regenerative braking to always on?

No (not yet). However the Honda e is using regen breaking whenever it is possible, no matter if you are using the one paddel driving or not.
