So regarding the PPF, did you get it done over the entire car or just specific locations of the bodywork?
As I didn't have a spare 3-6k GBP, it's only on the front panel between the headlights, headlights, glass charge port, charge port surround & the black plastic between the front/rear doors.
My thoughts exactly, so I've been creating a rubbish diagram to explain it. I'm trying to protect all the locations that seem to get stone chips on my current car:
Bonnet/Wing mirrors/front grille/front wing and flared wheel arches.

I do like those raised relief number plates too, nice touch.
It stands out, I've had a couple of neighbours speak to me about it, also a DPD driver dropping off a parcel was really intrigued because he's a Honda fan with a 90's Coupe fitted with a Type R engine.
As for the plates I bought them when I placed a firm order in October last year, I've had the reg 4 years waiting for a car new enough to put it on.

Our e is still waiting at the dealer – since first week of August as registration in Berlin currently takes 4-6 weeks...

Nice, the consolation is at least you know that yours is at the dealer and it'll be yours soon 👍
Hopefully you'll have a bit of good weather to use it before the winter rolls in and then you won't see it clean fit another 6 months.
You've just reminded me of a work trip to Hamburg about 12 years ago, even though I spent most of the time in a floating steel box, I seem to remember that at night on the few occasions that I had some free time the weather was wet & very cold, it felt just like home 🤣

It comes from the factory with some on the lower of the rear doors. To also get the whole bonnet, wings and bumper will be pricey. My logic was that those parts can be resprayed quite easily if needed and financially didn't seem worthwhile to PPF.
YMMV

Thanks londiniumperson!

I'll take that into consideration when asking for a quote.

Cheers.

You'll either need to find somewhere that can freehand cut off the car otherwise it'll mark the car or somewhere that can has a 3d scanner and is willing to create their own stencils.

TBH Some of the cutting is poor on mine especially around the Honda badge but it's barely noticeable and I'm happy considering the cost.

It's too late for me. After less than 120 miles traveled the car has a stone chip on the front bumper, on the chamfered bit just below the black area, just to the left of the nearside headlamp. Mine's a white car, so the black plastic underneath is very visible. Argh! :x Is this why some people choose black cars?!

I get it, your registration number has AAA because you run your electric car
using AAA batteries !
Don’t try to tell me otherwise. 😊
I have seen a black e at my dealer and I have to say it looks very smart.
Black Pearl is a very black black.
