Glad to hear they got to the bottom of it. Sounds like an opportunity for some design improvement, continually retrying the solenoid over and over every second is just overkill. No wonder you could smell burning!

I still don't get on with the door handles. They don't feel sturdy enough, and the ergonomics of it don't sit well for me (the angle, the flatness , the action of it all). Another silly gimmick that should have been avoided, especially if prone to failure and burning out :(

The switchgear for the window and door looks identical to the 10th gen civic - which seems to be holding up well in the wifes civic.

Glad that you've got your car back Yellow e. Not good that the dealer handed it back in that condition though. I hope it doesn't spoil your enjoyment of your car.
