I don't think anyone has found a way to restart the infotainment other than factory reset, or pull the fuse out for a minute... If anyone ever finds a way it would be very useful to know!Stiwaz wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2024 9:41 am Hi,
Old thread but problem still exists.
I've had this problem a few times. I use usb-carplay. Lossless audio and in my car it feels faster and more snappy than wireless-carplay.
Randomly my usb dies/stopes working. No charging and no usb-carplay. I know reseting to factory settings solves this problem, and i know leaving the car for 30-48 hours solves it. I'm guessing there is some deep sleep function or something that happens when leaving the car for 30-48 hours. I haven't used a timer for this so I'm guessing its around 30-48 hours. 24 hours is not enough.
I know there is hidden features on this car. Like holding down buttons and such to access the "secret" menu (the one that adds wireless android CarPlay and hdmi use while driving).
Has anyone found a option to reset the usb or audio system?
Waiting 30+ hours is silly, and factory reset results in a lot of fiddling in the menus..
Sorry if my english is bad, not my first language.. =)
