Japanese import vehicles - language change

Hey everyone, I'm thinking of importing a Japanese-delivered E to Australia in the near future.

I've been advised that it's not possible to fully change the car's language to English if it comes from Japan, and that often quite a bit of Japanese text remains in places like submenus etc.

Can anyone confirm this to be true? For us non-Japanese fluent Aussies, it would seem to mean a JDM import is not a very good idea...
