Not sure if everyone is aware, the RDM mitigation setting can be changed between:
  • Early
  • Normal
  • Delayed

Shame there isn't an Off option.

Adaptive Cruise Control ACC
Thanks for update. Confirms our driving conditions are very different. Have yet to try (need) ACC and clearly at higher speeds the car could be working hard to maintain a safe distance.

Enjoy your break. Sounds as though you have earned it.
May be the car knows you need a rest!

I mean, permanent Off. Not setting it to off before your start driving. Or did I miss something? :-)
It really doesn't work at all on B roads, and just becomes a distraction / annoyance and actually causes a safety issue rather than helping.

Can anyone confirm whether 'Delayed' option DOES reduce, eliminate MOST of the warnings on normal British B roads?

I believe Delayed is the default setting, and it's still rubbish on B roads.

When you buy one you'll notice delayed is not the default.
Try resetting your cars settings to confirm this.

Why not take one for a test drive and let us know your findings.

I have one, and it was defaulted to Delayed, the manual also states it's the default option.
