Faulty Telematics

Just dropped the car off at the dealers to get them to take a look at the faulty telematics on it. They have given me an automatic HRV to drive in the meantime. Compared to the E it’s like driving a tank. It looks like one, sounds like one, and handles like one.

Do you have to pay for the petrol .....

I don’t plan to drive it if I can avoid it so it will go back with whatever is left in the tank.

Does, anyone know exactly how the esim is switched over? Going to pop into dealer tomorrow, and they're not sure how it's done.
Assume the car has to be plugged into their diagnostics system?

I also got sent this Honda + Setup PDF from my dealer - but I can't use this as my phone won't show a pin on the car display

From what little I understand, they use the Honda Diagnostic tool and they follow these instructions...

They use a Honda diagnostic laptop to do those changes to update the esim, I was able to watch the first attempt on my car because it was out the front of the dealership. However they also need a good WiFi connection for the laptop to communicate to the garage server.

@TechJamo Try again tomorrow (24hrs later) because the dealer has to have added your car to the Honda back end system 24hrs before the owner can request a PIN for the MyHonda+ app. The dealer would have a bulletin explaining this.
