The Rear View mirror camera seems to be missing the ‘bubble ‘ or lens that all the
other cameras have.
Is this normal as the view in the rear view mirror has become distorted due,
I think, to dirt ?
This dirt doesn’t seem to clear automatically.
It is the camera in the spoiler above the rear window, not the reversing camera,
Please let me know if the camera on your car has this protective bubble or lens.
Thank you

Hi Isow - can you provide a photo?
The camera for the central mirror screen is behind the rear window glass as you suggest. It is washed and cleared by the rear wiper. And the rear demister clears any fog. Or so I have found.
So I am uncertain of the bubble lens cover you mention

Maybe I’m getting mixed up between the rear window washer system.
Maybe I’m looking at the wrong thing, thinking it’s the camera but in fact it’s
the water jet nozzle.
I’ll look in the morning when it’s light .
Thank you for the reply.

A silly mistake. A mix up between rear windscreen washer and rear view mirror camera.
The rear view mirror camera is hard to see.
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. :D
