Very impressive usage.

I don't think battery is heating at 12degr. And cooling probably also not required. From reviews of other cars I have learned that battery heating is activated below between -4 degr and 7degr depending on make and model. From our little Honda's behaviour I would guestimate it's about 0degr. Usage climbs dramatically for the first 10-15min below 0 degr so at least it's on a different program at freezing temperatures.

@Bogga

I just don't know how anyone in the UK can currently get anywhere near 4miles/kWh.
Whilst plugged in this morning (outside temp 10°C), I preheated for 20mins on the warmer setting and left home with 100% charge, yet I still only managed 3.3miles/kWh over 25 miles. It was at the usual 1.9miles/kWh after a very gentle almost flat drive for the first 3 miles never getting above 30mph in single pedal mode.
It seems like some cars have had a software update to improve the efficiency whereas others haven't, the problem being that there's no way for an owner to know As I've mentioned in other threads, I've always easily been able to get way over the advertised economy of ICE cars with very little effort, which shows that I can drive smoothly/efficiently when I want to.

I'll admit that mine has dropped down to 3.8m/kWh in the last month, down from the 4.3m/kWh I was getting up until December, but I'm still averaging 4.1m/kWh overall since I picked up in September. Sure, right now this isn't typical mileage for me and we've only had maybe a week or so of really cold going here in Thanet this winter so far. But still....

UPDATE: So averaging, the averages over the last month.... and you're at ~25mph. Which probably explains a lot.

When people post figures can they post that journeys average speed along side it? The app reports this on the journey function. It'd put things into context.

I have just come back from work 3.2kw/m av speed 40.3 max speed 70 most of my 21 mile journey is dual carriageway, with a fair bit of height changes in my journey, no preheat as around 13°C outside

I have amended mine above: now includes some avg & max speeds - not that quick, which explains better AVG.
