Hi guys,
I carry my mobility scooter (Di Blasi R30) in the boot of my e. Previously, I have used a 12v socket (usually in the boot), plus an inverter and the usual mains charger. With the e, the obvious solution is an extension cable to either of the power outlets below the dash.
This seems a very inelegant solution amid all the tech.
Any thoughts?
Richard

My first thought was how do you manage to fit it in the Honda e! But I see now that it's a folding mobility scooter - very clever! (YouTube video here).

It sounds like the battery is removable, so could you not just plug the charger directly into the 3-pin socket, with the battery on the floor in the passenger footwell (or in between the seats), rather than using an extension lead into the boot? I see it charges the 24V battery at 2 amps, so I'd guess it only uses aroun 60amps or so, so the Honda e can easily handle that.
