I did get 2021.10 at previous short space of time as milligoon and all working well ever since. It disappeared once, but now I can see "Map options" again with the same version. Hope this works for everybody who had been waiting!!

Yeah, I too grabbed the fix when it was briefly available before, and it now seems to be available again.
There's no way of knowing if this new version is identical to the one that I already have or not, since this "Reinstall Map" option appeared for me when I went to replace the broken update with the fixed one previously. In other words, Garmin keep using the exact same version number, even with changes/fixes. This imho is terrible practice. Anyway, I'm not changing mine again until I find a problem with what I have.
I have a cynical theory that there wasn't anything wrong with the version I grabbed before, but instead there was a licencing dispute between Honda and Garmin (or something similar), and so Garmin withheld the update until some sort of deal was done. I can't see why else it could have taken so long to resolve this (assuming it IS resolved now!).
What I would advise though is everyone who hasn't already updated, or more importantly, updated to the broken version but missed the short fix window before, GRAB THIS ONE QUICK INCASE THEY PULL IT AGAIN!!!

Mine too, but You weren’t going from 2020.10 were you, you were going from broken 2021.10 to fixed 2021.10. If you select Reinstall Map again (to go from fixed 2021 map to new fixed 2021 map), I suspect it will also report that it’s updating from 2020.10 to 2021.10, since it’s a “reinstallation”, i.e. doing the update again, even though it isn’t of course.
This is why I think Garmin’s casual relationship with the concept of version numbers is a mess.

A few weeks ago I performed the update and if I now check the in-built satnav it sill says that there's an update.
Even when I re-do the update it still indicates a newer one is available, I seem to be in an endless loop with this.
Is anyone else seeing this issue?
