Hi just wandering you opinion about new trim colour options:

From the very beginning I ver liked the «golden» wood. It lacked refinement, so I wanted to change it for quite some time.
What do you think, like it? hate it? ;)

From the moment I saw it installed I loved the new look.
I've done the centre console only to see how the vinil adapts over time as it's placed over the old one, not the correct way as it may fail to adhere properly.
If I don't like it or it goes bad I can always change back.. and parts are not very easy to find.

Is that something that comes on a roll like we used to buy in Woolworth in the 80s to cover our school books?

I think I prefer the original FDAD.
Nothing wrong with a change however. Just as long as it can be returned to the original without damaging anything?

My gf kinda likes it but my parents hate it XD reminds them of the old wood panel mercs, they are more fond of piano black trims.
This as is its perfectly reversible. I always liked dark wood better and to be honest the fake wood just not my taste I tried to contact someone to make actual wood panels but they didn't want to, a shame.

Is it easy to cover while fitted or did you remove the trim first?

To be properly installed it has to come out.. but it's very easy.

Thanks, I’m looking to wrap the wood effect trim, I don’t mind it but would like something a bit more fun to go with the overall look of the e.
Any tips on how to remove the trim would be much appreciated though 👍
