When using Google maps for navigation, the direction prompts on the dashboard for roundabouts always indicate that you should go back on yourself. I presume I'm not the only one seeing this?

The roundabout prompts when using the built-in navigation work correctly.

PS This is navigating in the UK, in case this makes any difference.

Yes, that constantly bugs me.
I'm using Android Auto, can anyone confirm if it also occurs on Apple Car Play whilst using Google maps?

Initially I thought it was because I had the car's inbuilt navigation set for a different destination but have proven that not to be the case.
I think that I'll add this to my list of issues to report to the dealer at my first service.

I'm Iphone/Apple car play user. Don't recall this problem though I only used Google & Apple maps whilst e's nav were down.

Tried briefly this morning and all roundabouts directions were fine.

Yup, I've seen this too as an Android Auto user.

Just to clarify, this only occurs where the direction is indicated on the main drivers screen and not on screen 2 or 3 (depending on where you have it) where Android Auto itself is running. Android Auto itself is correct. It's the interpretation of the data coming from Android Auto and how that's displayed which is the issue.

Thanks for the update on this issue.

It seems like there's a bit of confusion about which version of Google Maps this is fixed in, I'd suggest that Google's statement that it's fixed in version 10.84 is correct & not 10.81 as per the article.
I have version 10.84.1 so hopefully mine will now correctly show roundabout exits on the Meter display as well as the full Android Auto Google map.

This still isn't fully fixed.

On approach to roundabouts the correct information is shown, however sometimes whilst navigating the roundabout itself the display reverts back to the where you came from.

Also Waze still shows the wrong roundabout exit just like Google Maps did.
