I mostly use my phone (Samsung Galaxy S20) connected to the e via Bluetooth to listen to stuff. It connects seamlessly every time I get in the car and drive off.
Unless...
Sometimes I want to use Android Auto so that I have Waze on the car's screen. So I connect the phone to the e via a USB cable.
Next time I want to use Bluetooth, I have to set up the pairing all over again.
Am I missing something here?

Have a search of the forums for "AndroidAuto" as there is a method for getting into the maintenance menu and activating additional features to use this over wireless that aren't enabled by default.

I've found the same issue.
Mucking about with the wireless Android auto actually didn't help the issue and made it worse to the point of restring the entire system in the car so tread carefully.
What I have found is that the car doesn't actually forget the phone rather it doesnt join automatically after using Android auto. Hope it gets fixed it really annoys me.
