Something to deal with the road noise would be good. It sounds like it's coming from the back, maybe you could make some custom sound deadening material for it. Or maybe it's the door seals like on the Tesla Model 3.
Will definitely look into the sound deadening. But yes, you could be right, perhaps better seals.
I would buy something to make it quieter.dreamautomotive wrote: ↑Thu Jul 23, 2020 12:54 pmRei wrote: ↑Thu Jul 23, 2020 11:19 am Some nice cabin lighting would be good. Honda offer it as an option but it's £500!

Oho - on the other hand I would buy something that produces fantastic (operation-dependent) sounds (for the interior).
Like the Taycan or future BMW (à la Hans Zimmer):

I honestly can't imagine why anyone want that, but each to their own!RAL7004 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 23, 2020 1:21 pmOho - on the other hand I would buy something that produces fantastic (operation-dependent) sounds (for the interior).

Hello Dream Automotive
Being a FK2 owner, I've spent many an hour looking at your website, but never plucked up the courage to make it go quicker - its fast enough already thanks!
As for the Honda e, any chance of an EV equivalent to mapping or a sort of temporary overboost type thing, just to be used for that special occasion when you're alongside a Tesla at the lights and you need to show them who's the boss?
I'll try and come up with some sensible suggestions when I've taken delivery, next month hopefully

Haha! Yes, the FK2 is a great car and one we are very familiar with.
We definitely want to see how we can get the cars current power down on the tarmac better, it already slips a lot as stock!
I only know it from the Taycan. There the sound effects give you a very good feedback regarding acceleration and speed. Something I'm used to from the internal combustion engine.Rei wrote: ↑Thu Jul 23, 2020 1:50 pmI honestly can't imagine why anyone want that, but each to their own!RAL7004 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 23, 2020 1:21 pmOho - on the other hand I would buy something that produces fantastic (operation-dependent) sounds (for the interior).

So I think that this is not just a gimmick but also –- besides the acceleration sensation in the inner ear (and in the intestine) and visual perception of speed – is of great value for the driving experience and last but not least safety..
